The art school canteen at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee, I wanted to capture that moment after lunch when students needed to get back to work in the studios. Each sitter has their artwork also represented in some way in the painting. The title means the end of an era, a fitting title given we were in our final year when I made this large scale painting, measuring 2metres square.
